PSO/MPAS Meeting UPA Building, Rm 200 March 3, 2016

MINUTES: 1) Student Showcase - Andrea Pompei (Alumni Association) is helping a. Contact her at AndreaPompei@louisville.edu b. Most likely will take place at UDS. c. Keep thinking of research projects you can submit - GIS projects are great for the showcase.

2) Jane Jacobs Walk a. Date: April 2nd, 10:30-11:30ish. b. Starts at: 1020 E. Burnett Ave. (St. Elizabeth of Hungary) c. Meet up at Check's after the walk for lunch - Erin can make reservations if we want. d. The walk will be led by Don Haag, longtime Schnitzelburg resident who has led the history walks in the neighborhood many times. e. Need to administer online registration for the event to increase participation (capping the participants at 30 people). f. Need a map/brochure of the proposed route for participants to take with them on the Walk - Brian Pierce to put together the brochure.

3) PAB Accreditation Board Meeting with students - March 7th at 4:00pm in UPA building. b. Please RSVP to Yani if you can attend! The more students we have there the better. The Board wants to hear from YOU! This is so your degree retains its value and you can take the AICP exam earlier.

4) Neighborhood Cleanup - Saturday, April 9th a. Meet at UPA and split up from there - everyone wear your shirts! b. Food afterwards.

5) TED Talks a. If someone wants to take over the PSO leadership role for this, please feel free! This would look great on a resume.
